I had been referred to the Manoir Jackrabbit through a friend that has rented the home numerous times. They only had fantastic things to say about the owner Yaffa and her husband Jeff who is one of the owners of Sotheby’s real estate in Tremblant. The Jackrabbit is a tutor house that sits on a great property with lake access and fabulous trails directly in their back yard that can be used for hiking, cross country skiing or biking. These trails connect to the Place St. Bernard which has miles of breath taking forested terrain and is the largest cross country ski center in the area.

As you walk into the home you automatically want to unpack your bags and relax in the cozy living room. There are two great wood burning fireplaces and the owners have really added their own personal style. The home is filled with great art and paintings which seems much more personalized than staying in a hotel.

There is a huge modern kitchen with all the necessary appliances that is open to another sitting area with a huge flat screen TV. There is also a formal dining room connected to the kitchen with enough dishes to feed 18 people.

There is a large office space with pull out sofas on the main floor. These sofas have high density mattresses which are much more comfortable than the usual sofa bed. The office has a massive computer screen and full set up which is perfect for those of us who need to stay connected even while on vacation.

All four bedrooms can be found upstairs where you can also find a great library at the top of the staircase. There is nothing like a great book to relax with, but if reading isn’t your thing each bedroom has huge TV’s. You can comfortable sleep 20 people in this home which is really convenient if you are traveling with multiple families and also makes renting it really affordable.

There is a great manicured lawn which sits in the sun all day. You can easily sunbath in the back yard with complete tranquility and privacy. On the patio sits a BBQ, outdoor sitting area and most importantly a huge hot tub spa. You can probably fit 10 people comfortably.

This home has all the necessary ingredients for having a great family vacation. I had a great time here and Yaffa made everything perfect for us. I will be recommending this property to my friends.

We will definitely be coming back.

On a small side street at the end of the road is where you can find the Tremblant Properties Refuge des Cerf home. As you enter the driveway at first glance the home is deceiving in size. The photos on the website do not do this home justice as it is much bigger in person. While entering the home you realize just how much living space their really is. A gorgeous full size kitchen with all the modern amenities and cathedral ceilings in the living room that really open the space up.

There is a huge dinning table that can seat 16 people comfortably. The patio is massive with an eating area outside, bbq and spectacular views during winter and summer. There is a reading room adjacent to the kitchen with great views of the Golf Le Geant and the Tremblant ski hill. This room is fabulous for piece and quiet as the rest of the gang can enjoy the play room on the ground floor. There are 6 TV’s in this home with satellite and wireless internet access. You can find a huge pool table which can keep everyone busy during their vacation.

As you exit the pool room outside you can find another patio with a fantastic hot tub which is open all year round. During the summer there is a pool area for the homes located in the Refuge which is fabulous because there are rarely any people there. This home has 7 bedrooms and plenty of space for everyone. Most of the bedrooms can be found upstairs with great vaulted ceilings, large bathrooms and walk in closets in each room.

We were 3 families traveling together and there was plenty of room for everyone, it also makes renting the unit affordable when you can have so many people, and you will never feel cramped in such a large home. The location and house will not disappoint, a great luxury rental home for your Tremblant vacation right near the ski hill and all local activities.
